Skillet inspection. Now I knew I had all these pans but I didn’t know they were so many.
Grandma says I have too many but let’s review starting at the top left:
A small cast iron that belonged to my great-great grand mother, I use it only for corn bread. The other cast iron I bought 1996 for camping. The smallest all clad Ifound at a flea market for $10. The other two all clads are at least 20 years old. The smallest steel pan I found at an estate sale for $5 I probably use it the most. The next is a Mauviel that I just got today that will become the workhorse. The Vollrath next to it is thin it’s good for sautéing veg on the grill. In front are two German forged pans (bratpfanne) that I use a lot, they are great for roasting chickens. The anodized one is a on the end nice Vollrath from an estate sale but I never use it. Welp that wraps up something to do in a Sunday afternoon. Time to get cooking. .
