Whew! It wasn’t easy and it definitely wasn’t fun but I think I have it road worthy again. New drive shaft, new coupling, new flex plates on both ends aaaaannndddd because it sat too long with an old battery, new overpriced AGM battery. Bought the parts to replace upper and lower control arms and ball joints and struts for the whole front suspension. New (used) rear SAM will go in soon and get programmed and I’ll have a fuel gauge and turn signals. As soon as I make some money, I’ll replace the rear shocks and I’m buying these old school AMG rims and refinishing them in dark grey (2 of the existing wheels are bent). Still no AC but hopefully before the summer is over, I’ll fix that and replace the rocker panel and front fender and do a few more repairs. 250,000 down 750,000 to go #millionmilemercedes

Taken near our new favourite spot about an hour - two hours into Snowdonia. There's nothing around except for a few sheep, a pond and maybe a guy turning up in a red Subaru blaring his 90s club anthems. .
What I love the most is, there is no signal, no WiFi and no 4G, it truly feels and captivates what we want in life and what we are saving for! To eventually have our own land, all completely off grid, no permanent structures, just our little family (just fur kids. Sorry in laws) with no one or anything in sight. 🏞️🙏🏼😁 .
That's our little dream.

Our road trip from Wisconsin to Colorado (through the Badlands and Rushmore) has come to a close. Sadly, we didn’t make it to our lovely Pagosa Springs this trip, but JoJo has already logged on 25+ hours in a rear facing car seat — poor thing.
A shout out and thanks to @noahwolfe24 and @i_am_qt_ for helping take care of our family and driving this beast-vehicle back home.
So last night we got engaged! Lloyd lured me to the top of a climb on the premise that he was going to finish teaching me to rappel. Once I got to the top of the route (and clipped onto safety!) out of his chalk bag he pulled a f****ing beautiful gold and emerald ring and said “now that I’ve got you here, will you marry me?”.
Thank you for inspiring me, dreaming with me, and always helping me feel capable of doing more than I ever thought I could. I love you - here’s to a lifetime of adventuring together! x
