The progression of a drill and exaggerating without a ball. HW has trouble with face control due to too much knee flex and arm separation. So we used the impact bag to get him to feel the extension of the body and straightening of the arms. Then, we put that troublesome ball in the way and got some good results!

Today’s workout brought to you by TERRIBLE golf. But I still love playing no matter how many quadruple bogeys I get. I did get my first ever birdie on a hole today! That’s a victory I will take.

Had the best time at Top Golf last night! As a person who always likes to try new & fun things this was just up my alley.
Top Golf is a driving range game where you hit balls with microchips in them and the system knows which player in a lane hit the ball. You aim at targets and you score points (tho this novice golfer is just happy to have her ball fly through the air!). And the scoreboard in your lane (actually called a bay) keeps your score just like the screen does when you go bowling. In fact the bowling experience is probably the easiest way to explain it. They provide clubs so no need to bring anything. We had a wide range of golfers with us from first timers to very experienced and it was fun for all of us. They have a full bar and food. I highly recommend! There is one in Mt. Laurel and one in King of Prussia. I wish they'd bring one to Columbus Blvd! (Hint hint @topgolf)
