Tonight I showed up. I didn’t necessarily feel like working out after a pretty long day, but I committed to it & got a killer workout in. 😅

I don’t always feel motivated to workout, but I know I’ll feel 150x better if I do. 🙌🏻#PeepTheHamstrings 😍
So I was doing 5 of three variations of pull-ups a day back in October. Now a days I’m getting 1-2 on a good day. It’s not comforting. In fact it feels pretty icky. But today was another workout closer to getting it back.
Recently, I don’t feel like I’ve been the girl in this picture. The girl who is always smiling and laughing, enjoying life and taking in every moment. I’ve realized that recently I haven’t been living how I SHOULD be. I’ve been dwelling on the negatives, letting little things stress me out, looking at the glass half empty instead of half full, & frowning about the things that haven’t gone right. Last night we did a live with our @aspiretoinspirefitness1 hustlers and it changed my whole perspective with the reminders that we were sharing. These calls are intended to help our clients, but always end up helping us as well! There are so many good things going in my life and it made me step back and realize this! There are two ways you can look at any situation and those two options are 😁positively or 😡negatively. I choose 😁 from here on out. Who’s with me?
To feel strong, to walk amongst humans with a tremendous feeling of confidence and superiority is not at all wrong. The sense of superiority in bodily strength is borne out by the long history of mankind paying homage in folklore, song and poetry to strong men.
